printing - How do I print multiple images to one page on Chrome OS? - Super User

Just had to do this, and used the following method:

  • Assuming the photos are in photos.google.com
  • Select the photos you want to print
  • Go to the + sign (Add to ...)
  • Add to collage - it will create a multi-photo collage that fits on one page (or did in my case - tested it with 5 photos)
  • Print it - voila

(11) I have no service on an Android phone. What's wrong? - Quora

1. Network issues - Got to Settings<Mobile Network/Wireless and Mobile Network/Similar Option (Depends on ROM you have)<Cellular Network/Network Provider<Choose Automatically.

If this does not work and your ROM offers "Choose Manually/Select Network" and see if anything shows up. Choose the appropriate provider and you should be good to go.

2. SIM issues - Take out the SIM card and insert it into another phone (borrow from friend if needed) and see if signal shows up. This is especially applicable for the new 4G USIM cards (I use this  method myself for fixing my Airtel USIM card). If signal shows up, insert SIM card into your phone and restart it.

Essential oils for Newborns and Babies - Healing in Our Homes

Essential oils for Newborns and Babies - Healing in Our Homes

I absolutely adore babies – which is probably good since I had 5 of my own. I was actually very pregnant with my 5th when I discovered the high quality essential oils and I enjoyed using them while pregnant and also through all her stages so far. Children are such precious blessings. Essential oils can be a huge help to you as a mother ~ you'll be ready for anything!

It's also important to use nothing but the most pure and safe, therapeutic-grade essential oils because store-bought oils can have solvents, pesticides, synthetics and other chemicals. You cannot tell by looking at the label. Remember everything we put onto our skin also goes into our body. That's why we trust the company we use for our children because they are so thoroughly tested to be free of pesticides, fillers and contaminants.

No, it refers to the roads like those within resorts and such. No worries-just stay on the main and paved roads. Do be warned that Google maps are notoriously inaccurate for Maui. Here's a much better map:

GOOG Stock: These 3 Factors Could Send Alphabet Inc Stock Surging

GOOG Stock: These 3 Factors Could Send Alphabet Inc Stock Surging

But there's still a lot to like about Google. Here are three catalysts that should get GOOG stock back on its upward trend:

Advertising

Despite having a market cap of about $500 billion, expectations for Google are still sky-high. Even the slightest stumble can send shares downward; that's what happened here with GOOG stock after the first-quarter earnings report.

Revenue for the first quarter was $20.35 billion, up 17% over the previous year, but analysts were expecting $20.38 billion. Similarly, non-GAAP earnings per share (EPS) were $7.50, but analysts were expecting $7.96 a share. Earnings growth was still great, which represents an increase of 16% over the same period last year.

Google's advertising sales generate the bulk of the company's total revenue and that category performed well. Sales were up 16% over the previous year, paid clicks were up 29%, but costs per click fell nine percent. GOOG stock got dinged a bit on this front too because investors were expecting paid clicks to increase 32%.

Robinhood App Review - Free Trades Without a Catch?

Robinhood App Review - Free Trades Without a Catch?

The primary question remains how will Robinhood make money if trades are zero? In their FAQ they state they will make money through margin lending interest, and interest on any uninvested customer cash deposits.

According to some sources, the margin interest rate will be 3.5% once it is offered. This margin rate is much lower than other leading brokerage firms. Also according to their FAQ they will not make money via PFOF (Payment For Order Flow). Though they could make this a source of revenue in the future.

Will they be able to pull this off? As a reviewer of various brokerages, I'm not so sure. Keep in mind, this hasn't been the first time a stock broker has tried this idea. Zecco was a recent brokerage firm who tried the freemium model. During their existence, Zecco changed their pricing structure several times. And eventually, Zecco determined their business model wasn't successful and merged with TradeKing.

Currently there are two other firms which are following the freemium model: LOYAL3, and WiseBanyan. Robinhood and LOYAL3 are just straight up stock brokers, whereas WiseBanyan offers robo-advisor services.

San Leandro-is it safe? (San Francisco, Oakland: sales, crimes, home) - San Francisco - Oakland - California (CA) - Page 4 - City-Data Forum

San Leandro has a similar crime rate to it's neighboring communities. Oakland's is higher, San Lorenzo is about the same, Castro Valley's is similar, Alameda's is only slightly less.

It will be more or less about neighborhoods than the city itself. I used to live there, and the neighborhoods that were good then were: Broadmoor, Estudillo Estates, Bay-o-Vista, and down by the Marina. IMO, no matter where you live, try to stay away from areas where there are lots of apartments.

Google Nexus 6P Review - Call Quality, Battery and Conclusion

Google Nexus 6P Review - Call Quality, Battery and Conclusion

Fortunately, the Nexus 6P doesn't suffer from the same scratchy voices that plagued the Nexus 5X's call performance. While it's still not perfect, the mostly audible voices through the speaker sound better here – albeit, it's still a smidgen artificial sounding. It gets only a little bit better on the other end of the line, but we're at the very least happy to find its speakerphone is significantly more useful, since it's louder in tone to make it usable in noisy conditions.

It's not terrible, but it's certainly not great either. Yes, there are some challenges with the calling performance of the Nexus 5X, but for the most part, we're able to handle conversations without having the need to constantly repeat ourselves. Through the earpiece, as well as on the other end of the line, voices can sometimes sound scratchy, which is made worse if there's a lot of background noise to contend with. With the speakerphone, too, it's a bit underpowered in tone – so it drowns out easily in noisy situations.

Just as long both parties are able to utter concise sentences, the experience is tolerable enough to accept.

Just spoken with Google support and they said I need to do this before they will think about sending out a replacement

--

If you are having any audio, speaker, or microphone issues with your device, please follow the steps below.

Step 1: Update to the latest version of Android OS.

Go to "Settings" > scroll down to "System" > touch About phone (or tablet) > touch System updates.
If your device is modified or rooted, revert your device to original factory image since troubleshooting steps may not work on modified/rooted devices. You can use our Nexus factory images to re-image your device.
Step 2: Remove obstructions.

Remove any cling film, stickers, covers/cases/bumpers, or anything else that can be obstructing the device.
Step 3: Enable safe mode on your device.

Ensure your device's screen is on, then press & hold the Power button.
Touch and hold the Power off option in the dialog box.
Touch OK in the following dialog to start safe mode.
To exit safe mode, turn your device off and on again.
If you discover that the issue doesn't occur while your device is in safe mode, it's likely that a third-party app or Android OS modification is causing the issue. You can start to use and narrow down your installed apps to try to pinpoint the specific app. When the culprit is identified, you can uninstall the app or contact the developer of the app for further support as follows:

Navigate to play.google.com.
Find the app and click on it to view its main page.
Scroll down to the "Additional Information" section. Here, you'll see "Contact Developer" options.
Step 4: While in safe mode, turn off Bluetooth.

Go to "Settings" > under "Wireless & Networks", touch Bluetooth.
In Bluetooth settings, if Bluetooth is on, touch the slider to switch Bluetooth off.
Step 5: While in safe mode, make sure the volume is on.

Go to "Settings" > under "Device", touch Sound > touch Volumes.
In Volume settings, slide all three indicators all the way to the right to make sure all sound is on and at max volume.
Note: When each slider is adjusted, a sound will be heard.
Step 6: Check if the issue is resolved.

Play with the volume levels to hear sound.
Make a test phone call.
Use Google Now to test your microphone.
If your issue isn't resolved, continue to the next step.

Step 7: Reset your device to factory settings.

If you're still unable to resolve the issue, or if the issue is so severe that you can't boot your device into safe mode, resetting your device to factory settings may help. Resetting your device to factory settings will erase all local data on your device. Backup of your personal local data (pictures, music and video files) is recommended.

united states - How to withdraw money given only account information (account number/routing number/etc.) - Personal Finance & Money Stack Exchange

united states - How to withdraw money given only account information (account number/routing number/etc.) - Personal Finance & Money Stack Exchange

You can technically initiate an ACH transaction (debit or credit) with just the routing number and the account number. As a consumer - most banks will not allow you doing this without some sort of verification of authority. But if you have a direct ACH access (like many billers do) - you can do that and nothing will stop you.

You can also print checks with the account/routing info on them and use them.

That said - these actions are illegal and reversible. People who do this are usually making "sting" operations where they deposit forged checks and withdraw the money in cash quickly, before the check bounces back as a fake. The loss is then on the bank that allowed them depositing the checks (that's why new accounts usually have much longer holds on deposits than older established ones).

Can't the account information on my checks be easily used for fraud? - Personal Finance & Money Stack Exchange

Can't the account information on my checks be easily used for fraud? - Personal Finance & Money Stack Exchange

Yes, and there are almost no checks (no pun intended) on people pulling money from your account using a routing number. It is an EXTREMELY insecure system. If you want a real Halloween scare, read this article: Easy Check Fraud Technique Draws Scrutiny.

Unfortunately you just have to live with it.

If you are curious why this loophole is allowed to continue, consider how hard it is to close it without undermining the convenience of checks. Short of you going to the bank with each person you write a check to and showing ID to validate the transaction, I don't see how you could continue to use a negotiable instrument like this without such a security hole.

The ultimate answer is going to have to be replacing checks with other means of payment.

fraud - Is it safe to give out one's bank account number? - Personal Finance & Money Stack Exchange

fraud - Is it safe to give out one's bank account number? - Personal Finance & Money Stack Exchange

Technically, no. There is very little security in the US for bank drafts. With your bank account routing number it is very easy for people to draw funds without your authorization. Another thing people can do is buy stuff online with "demand drafts". Essentially it works like a credit card number where the create an electronic version of a check to purchase things. There is generally no password, PIN or signature requirement.

That said, it is printed on every check you write so keeping it private isn't really practical. I'd make sure you trust anyone you give it to and watch your account statements closely.

An important thing to know is that a routing number isn't a one-way deal. If you give out the number for someone to wire you money, they can just as easily draft on the account.

Thinking of joining BlogHer ad network? Here's what to know

Thinking of joining BlogHer ad network? Here's what to know

2. BlogHer ads get prime real estate on your blog.

If and when BlogHer accepts you into their ad network, you can run their ads on your blog. However, you can't just stick them any old place. When you join, you agree to adhere to a number of BlogHer policies and rules, one of them being that whatever BlogHer ad unit you choose to place on your blog will be located "above the fold," in other words, high enough up on your blog's front page that readers don't have to scroll down to see it. There are other stipulations as well. The blog hosting service you use must allow advertising – that rules out any blogs running on WordPress.com, which doesn't. Ads from other blog ad networks cannot be placed higher than the BlogHer ad unit. You also must agreed to stick to their editorial guidelines regarding sponsored posts, giveaways, etc.

3. You can opt out of ads that aren't a good fit.

One thing I like about BlogHer is the ability they give bloggers to opt out of running ads that might not be a good fit for their blog or that they find personally objectionable. For example, since I don't run a parenting blog, I opt out of ads for baby products. Vegetarian bloggers can opt out of ads showing meat or dairy products. Bloggers can also opt out of ads for political parties or religious groups.

(10) What can someone do if they've lost the wireless USB connector to their Logitech keyboard and mouse? - Quora

If your keyboard and mouse uses a Unifying receiver which looks like this then you're in luck. You can either buy the cheapest product that has the same receiver and use the Unifying Software utility to re-pair it to your existing devices or you can buy it off eBay or AliExpress. I've purchased several (they cost around US$8 each).

I would definitely show up, even without the notice... Do you at least have your application number? It should be on the receipt (Notice of Action).

At the bottom of my ASC Appointment Notice it says:
"If you have any questions regarding this notice, please call 1-800-375-5283"
You can try and call that number and see what they can tell you...
